MiMA: Your Long Material Handling Solution
Operational Use Case
In 2009, MiMA developed multi-directional and omnidirectional forklifts (Models MQB, MQ, MQD, MQZ, MQC, MQK) to address the challenges of stacking long materials like metals, steel structures, panels, and aluminum profiles. These models reduce space wastage in warehouses that occurs with traditional handling methods due to the length of these goods.
Warehouse Utilization
Compared to conventional counterbalance forklifts for long material stacking, multi-directional and omnidirectional forklifts can double storage rack height and reduce aisle width by 55% within the same warehouse space. This ultimately increases overall storage capacity by 150%.
Lift Height Advantage
MiMA’s multi-directional and omnidirectional forklifts (Models MQB, MQ, MQD, MQZ, MQC, MQK) offer lifting heights up to 8.5 meters. This provides a significant advantage over traditional counterbalance forklifts, enhancing warehouse capacity through increased vertical storage efficiency.
Narrower Aisles
Multi-directional and omnidirectional models allow for diverse travel modes: straight travel, lateral movement, angled approaches, right-angle turns, and 360-degree on-the-spot rotations. This reduces the minimum aisle width between long material racks to 2.5 meters, significantly improving warehouse utilization.
Indoor and Outdoor Versatility
Multi-directional and omnidirectional forklifts offer tire options for different operating environments. Rubber tires provide excellent versatility for both indoor and outdoor use, while polyurethane tires offer superior shock absorption, durability, and longevity, making them ideal for smooth indoor operations.
